As part of our club's long standing support for, and emphasis on, providing a safe, encouraging, environment for youth football, fair play, and sportsmanship we have signed up for the latest FA Respect: 21 Days of Positivity initiative.
The new initiative aims to further the ambitions and objectives of the core FA Respect campaign to improve touchline and on-pitch behaviour in youth football across the country covering the attitudes and activities of players, coaches, officials and parents involved. The FA Respect campaign has continued to grow since its start in 2008 delivering increased awareness and coverage year on year.
Over the next 21 days - 21 days is the period of time it takes to enact a behavioural change and form a habit - the FA will share materials, advice and other content to help promote positive behaviours including video clips of various England stars thanking those that have had the biggest influence on them personally and in their careers.
Every week the FA will publish materials and content and in particular coaches will receive directed emails including hints, tips and insight in to particular themes with new themes being presented each week. In addition LUFC will be incorporating relevant FA materials into our policies and procedures as well as making materials available in the club house.
England stars Ross Barkley, Jesse Lingard, Toni Duggan and Azeem Amir feature in clip to promote FA's '21 Days of Positivity' scheme to improve attitudes at grassroots level - watch the first video here
