We are a young team of ambitious young footballers who are learning to work together as an emerging team. We are lucky to have very supportive parents, and coaches who are passionate about youth football and playing the game the right way to maximise the enjoyment for our young players. Our group of players are building momentum, developing skills on and off the ball, and are learning to play together towards becoming a successful team. We work hard, train harder and have fun doing what we love.
Building upon the central LUFC Football Coaching Philosophy we proactively seek to develop all our of players holistically, practically and sensibly in the following four key areas:
- Movement Skills - player movement on and off the ball and moving with the ball
- Technical Skills - player ball control, passing, receiving, and shooting short and long
- Decision Making - situational awareness, team movement, team structure and decisions
- Skills for Life - teamwork, friendships, co-operation, and responsibilities
We play in the Bedfordshire Mini Soccer League on Sundays and have training on Wednesday evenings. As a group of enthusiastic players, parents and coaches we work together to facilitate the activities of the team so players can enjoy the game and continue to love what playing football. We also work to provide specific coaching for every player in the team and work together towards developing the team as they grow together.
