Game Plan Executed Perfectly

Another Home Win For Leighton

Last Sunday saw Leighton welcome Kempston to tilsworth on the back on some good results.
Leighton who were back up to full strength were in fine voice and this time were awake from the word go.
And when Ryan was hauled down inside the box Evan had the chance to get Leighton ahead.... Sadly he didnt bank on the Kempton keeper being one of the best he has come across, needless to say the keeper came out ontop this time
Leighton didnt panic and kept to the game plan, and kept hitting the holes.
Charlie P popped up inside the box to poke leighton ahead midway through the first half, and even when kempston drew level near half time Leighton never looked worried as they knew patience was needed.
Joe, WIlliam and Freddie soon worked out how to keep Kempston's best player quiet as he was there only threat. And once Ryan dropped back into defence to man mark him he was never to be seen again all game !!
In the second half Leighton re took the lead through Evan after good build up play through Billy and Ella. Oliver then had a thunder bolt rattle the bar and yet again the keeper came to Kempstons rescue- On any other day Leighton would of been home and dry
Leighton then sealed the win with goals from Oliver and another goal from Evan
This really was a battling performance and more importanty and perfect game plan game from Leighton
Next up another home game this time against AFC Oakley
